I Don't Swim Very Well
"I don’t swim very well, a simple statement. Sea and sand mix as I am tossed about in roiling waters. Below the surface is imminent and inevitable chaos. This painting started as a small piece about my struggles trying to stay afloat in the ocean but now seems indicative of larger issues at hand as the elements fight for positions on this planet. We are all trying to keep our heads above the water line as the earth is besieged by more hurricanes than usual and waves that rival that of Hokusai. We face uncharted waters with possible tsunamis coming!"
