Forest Fire, oil on canvas, 18 x 20”, 2020

"In this painting I convey the brilliance and heat that the devastation a forest fire creates.
It has been heartbreaking watching the wildfires mushroom and burn thousands of acres and forcing residents and their pets out of their homes.
Fires move so quickly there were people unable to escape.
We watched as a community called “Paradise” was totally obliterated and razed to the ground.
Forest fires always start by one of two ways. Naturally caused or human caused.
The latest research puts the percentage of human caused blazes in the US at 84%. Often human fires are caused by neglect or carelessness. We need to be careful.
Smokey the Bear said, “Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires”."

What Have We Done?, oil on canvas , 16 x 20”, 2020

"In this painting I show how how the marine debris impacts our environment.
At a camp site the discarded solid material thrown in the water will increase in toxicity over time. Candy wrappers, chip bags, instant noodle cups, plastic bottles and even Q-tips are a danger to our marine dependent creatures."
